Homegrown Chicken 2008

Our current flock of broilers will be ready at the beginning of May 2008. These large breasted chickens are locally raised, pastured in our backyard. They will weigh about 4-5 lbs. each. We use NO non-therapeutic antibiotics and NO added growth hormones.

Farmer's Market

We'll be at the Westerville Farmers Market on Wednesdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., from May 7th through October 29th. The Westerville Farmers Market is in the parking lot of the Messiah Chruch at the corner of Home Street and State Street in Westerville. We'll be offering chicken (whole and pieces), eggs (very limited supply until September), and whatever vegetables they'll let us sell.

Brown Eggs from Cage-Free Hens

Do you have sunny land you're tired of mowing? We're looking for places to plant more vegetables, the closer to Frijolito Farm, the better. If you have a large, sunny, reasonably secure location in the Columbus area you'd consider leasing to us, drop us a line.
